Chicken Curry

This chicken curry recipe will become one of your favorites. Very simple to prepare, quick and delicious.


Ingredients for 2 Servings

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)

  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped

  • 4 spring onion(s), cut into rings

  • 150 ml cream

  • 150 ml broth

  • 1 tablespoon curry powder

  • a little oil

  • a little butter

  • salt and pepper

  • lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons flour


Preparation


Working time about 10 minutes | Cooking / baking time approx. 10 minutes | Total time approx. 20 minutes


  1. Cut chicken breast fillet into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.

  2. Fry briefly all around in a little hot oil and then remove.

  3. Briefly sauté the onions and scallions in the hot fat in the pan, then add the curry powder with the flour. Stir well and sweat briefly.

  4. Add broth and cream, then add the chicken meat back in and bring to a boil.

  5. Simmer briefly and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.


Tip: If you like, you can also reduce the amount of broth and combine it with apple juice, for example.
