These bruschettas are the easiest and most delicious starter you can imagine
Ingredients for 4 Servings
5 beef tomato(s) or vine tomatoes
2 clove(s) of garlic
5 tablespoons olive oil or salad oil
2 ciabatta
1 tsp. tomato seasoning, alternatively salt and pepper, but in a different quantity
Preparation
Working time about 20 minutes | Resting time about 2 hours | Cooking / baking time approx. 8 minutes | Total time approx. 2 hours 28 minutes
Wash the tomatoes and remove the greens. Halve them and cut them into small cubes.
Chop the garlic very finely and add to the tomato pieces.
Mix with a good 3 tablespoons of oil as well as 1 - 2 teaspoons of tomato seasoning salt.
Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 180 - 200 °C.
Take the tomato pieces out of the refrigerator.
Cut the ciabatta into slices about 1 cm thick and drizzle them with the remaining oil.
Place a sheet of baking paper on an oven rack (important) and spread the ciabatta slices on it.
Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 5 - 8 minutes until golden brown, not too dark or they will be too hard.
Remove the ciabatta slices from the oven and top with 0.5 - 1 tablespoon of the tomato-garlic mixture per slice.
Always succeeds, great for the grilling season, can be prepared well when guests come, and is purely vegetarian.
